Are you interested in the USA and the English language? Do you want to exchange ideas with other young people? If the answer is yes, our „Youth Council“ is just the right thing for you.
The Carl-Schurz-Haus, as a German-American-Institute, invites you to a so-called „Youth Council“, i.e. an elected youth advisory board that takes an active part in what happens in the house. The members of the council take on an advisory function, in which they deal more closely with the question, among other things: What exactly is it that interests young people about the transatlantic relationship? And why is it relevant to you?
The advisory board is for committed young people who want to dive into the world of a cultural house and try out how it feels to be an active part of the Carl-Schurz-Haus. Participation can include social media work, PR, program planning, library activities and being part of our July 4 event and the election night 2024.
You are welcome to join this session even if you have missed our first meetings.

- vote on board positions
- plan our activities for the CSH 4th of July event
- talk about our Social Media outreach
- fix dates for our next meetings
