Making It in Germany

Lessons learned & Useful Tips from International Entrepreneurs in Germany | Im Rahmen der German-American Business Community

Join us for a panel discussion as well as networking with international entrepreneurs about trying to 'make it' in Germany. Listen and learn as panelists share their entrepreneurial journeys - the highs, the lows, and most importantly, the lessons learned.

If you are an international entrepreneur trying to get your business started in Germany or simply looking to enter into the German workforce, this event is for you! We of course welcome any and all employers and investors looking to support and encourage internationals in German business as well as anyone simply looking to broaden their network in Freiburg.

Our panelists include:
Patrick Bastien (USA), co-founder of learneezee.com
Mirna Jahnke (Lebanon), co-founder of Souk Baladeh
Jorrell Rush-Kittle (USA), founder of BrAuerhahn

Ashley Matthäus, head of the German-American-Business Community at the Carl-Schurz-Haus will share her research on the subject as well as moderate the event and we will also have Markus Czogalla as a representative from the IHK Südlicher Oberrhein to field any pertinent questions and offer insight.

There will be time for Q&A as well as networking after the panel. Your questions and active participation are encouraged!
