America as we know is a melting pot, enjoying the mixture of cultures from around the world. And it's not just the food and music but also in its holidays. St. Paddy's Day is one of those. It's a primarily Irish holiday that the United States appropriated and now is firmly a part of American culture. Just as Cinco de Mayo and Oktoberfest. But what about Germany? What aspects from other countries' cultures has Germany borrowed from? Maybe we find out Germany is more of a melting pot than we thought.
