Open Dialog: German-American Topics in English mit Jason Brown, Freiburg

One year after the tumultuous campaign in the US, the world has shifted. Populism once thought to be rising indefinitely at the beginning of the year has begun to wane and its limitations are being shown by ineffectual leaders. Defeats in Austria, Holland and France early in the year gave some hope to the thought that the people would be able to decide what is best for all people within the country and not just the wealthiest. Is populism waning? Is it just dormant?
