“Money Never Sleeps” is a sequel to the 1987 popular movie “Wall Street”. It follows the actions of a Wall Street trader after his release from prison. The unique nature of the movie is in the fact that in this instance life imitates art, namely the original movie dealt with a fictional airline by the name of “Bluestar Airline” which was the company bankrupted by the fictional character of Michael Douglas. In reality a company named “Blue Star Jets” was in fact started in 2001 by real-life businessmen Ricky Sitomer and Todd Rome. Usually art imitates life, in this instance it is the reverse, a unique situation for sure that makes this movie an interesting one.

A game designer on the run from assassins must play her latest virtual reality creation with a marketing trainee to determine if the game has been damaged.

Lala stammt aus gutem Hause in Buenos Aires. Ihre Familie beschäftigt das aus Paraguay stammende 20-jährige Hausmädchen Guayi. Die beiden verbindet bald eine innige Liebesbeziehung, die in dem konservativen Umfeld jedoch keine Existenzmöglichkeit hat. Auch Lalas Vater ist an dem Mädchen interessiert. Als er ermordet aufgefunden wird, macht Lala sich auf die Suche nach Guayi, die in ihrem Heimatort untergetaucht sein soll. Dort erzählt man sich die Legende des Fischkindes, das die Ertrunkenen an den tiefen Grund des Sees führt.
