Ein Zertifikat ist eine international anerkannte Bescheinigung Ihrer Englischkenntnisse. Es ist nicht gleichzusetzen mit einer Teilnahmebestätigung. Eine Teilnahmebestätigung erhalten Sie auf Wunsch für jeden unserer Kurse, den Sie belegt haben.  Ein Zertifikat über Ihre Englischkenntnisse erhalten Sie nur wenn Sie die entsprechende Prüfung ablegen. Dazu ist es ratsam einen Vorbereitungskurs zu machen. Wir bieten am Carl-Schurz-Haus drei Zertifikatskurse an: 1) Das Cambridge First Certificate in English (B2); 2) Das Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (C1); und 3) Das Cambridge Business English Certificate Higher (C1). Die Cambridge Prüfung können Sie bei der VHS Freiburg ablegen.

Cambridge First Certificate in English - 2. Hj

The FCE certifies a good knowledge of written and spoken English. Participants should have 7-9 years of school English and be prepared to invest at least 2 hours preparation time per week. The course will cover the relevant English skills required by the examination: Reading, writing, listening and speaking. Course book: FCE Gold Plus. Longman. ISBN 978-1-405-87678-0. People may also attend the course who do not intend to take the exam (June 2011). 14 sessions = 21 hours.

Cambridge Advanced Certificate - 2. Hj

The CAE certifies a good to very good knowledge of written and spoken English. Participants should have already attained a minimum level of Abitur English and be prepared to invest at least 2 hours preparation time per week. The course will cover the relevant English skills required by the examination: Reading, writing, listening and speaking. Course book: "CAE Gold Plus" (ISBN 978-1-4058-7680-3) – please try and procure before the course starts. The course comprises about 8 months. People may also attend the course who do not intend to take the exam (June 2011). 14 sessions = 28 hours.

Cambridge BEC Higher Examination Course - 2. Hj

This course is designed for people with a very solid command of English who wish to improve their communication skills in a business context with the option of taking the BEC Vantage Examination (costs not included in course price). The course comprises about 8 months. People may also attend the course who do not intend to take the exam. 30 sessions = 60 hours.
