Children and Young Adults

We also have a lot to offer children and young adults. Thousands of books for all ages are waiting to be discovered! Favorites like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, or classics like The Very Hungry Caterpillar are waiting to be checked-out.
Naturally, the books are marked by age group: Colored dots on the spine indicate the recommended reading age.
You can search for specific titles in our online catalog - or visit our children's corner, with its inviting cushions and boxes of books for young and old to browse.

Story Time

Join us in our library once a month for Story Time, a time for children (and parents!) to listen, laugh, learn, and maybe even sing! Every month, someone will read a new story. Bring your children and your sense of adventure and play! Fun times for the whole family!

From January to March, Story Time will take place on the following dates at 14:00:

20 January: Kate Egetmeyer reads “Caps for Sale” by Esphyr Slobodkina, and “The Quangle Wangle’s Hat” by Edward Lear

24 February: Fiona Siegfried reads “A Bear Called Paddington” by Michael Bond (Participants are encouraged to bring their teddy bears; Fiona will be bringing hers!)

17 March: Nicole Palazzo reads “The Day the Crayons Quit” by Drew Daywalt
