Children and Young Adults

We also have a lot to offer children and young adults. Thousands of books for all ages, including  favorites like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, or classics like The Very Hungry Caterpillar, are waiting to be discovered and checked-out!
Naturally, the books are marked by age group, but these markings are only ever a suggestion and never a rule!
You can search for specific titles in our online catalog - or visit our children's corner, with its inviting cushions and boxes of books for young and old to browse.

Story Time

Join us in our library once a month for Story Time, a time for children (and parents!) to listen, laugh, learn, and maybe even sing! Every month, someone will read a new story. Bring your children and your sense of adventure and play! Fun times for the whole family!

Story Time will take place on the following dates at 11:30:

21 September: Hercules Paskalis reads Blueberries for Sal by Robert McCloskey

19 October: Léna Remy-Kovach reads What's the Most Beautiful Thing You Know About Horses? by Richard Van Camp and George Littlechild

16 November: Fiona Siegfried reads Horrid Henry and the Tooth Fairy by Francesca Simon

14 December: Esther Earbin reads Hair Love by Matthew Cherry
